A Message from Nurse Westerfer
Dear students, families and friends of William Dick Elementary School.
I am reaching out to let you know I have retired as of this past June of 2020. It was a planned retirement, but….
This is not how I wanted it to end. My plan was to spend the last few months of school letting everyone know ahead of time that I was leaving. I wanted to spend that time saying my goodbyes and giving out a lot of hugs, laughing and probably doing some crying as well. I’m old school, I like to do things face to face, I’m not great at the Zoom thing.
But, the COVID 19 virus got in my way. We had to leave school early, so I didn’t get to see all of you as I’d planned
Please know that I have enjoyed the time I spent with you, sometimes it was rough, sometimes sad, often funny. It was a pleasure serving as your school nurse.
Please welcome your new nurse with open arms and give her all your support. I have given her my ice maker so that she won’t run out of ice for the recess injuries!
Be safe, and healthy. I wish you all the very best in your lives ahead and please wear your masks !!!
With love,
Pat Westerfer, School Nurse
